Acacia Creek Retirement Community and the Masonic Homes of California care deeply about all residents, staff, and their families. We want to keep you informed about the status of Covid-19 on our campus, so we will be posting daily updates and other content here.
September 25, 2020 update:
As a result of second round testing this week, a case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in a resident at our community. The resident is quarantined along with four other residents that had incidental contact. The resident’s family has been notified.
THERE IS NO QUARANTINE FOR ALL OTHER RESIDENTS OR FOR THE BUILDING.
IF YOU HAVE FAMILY WEEKEND VISITS SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEKEND—REST ASSURED THEY ARE STILL OCCURING.
In compliance with the Alameda County Public Health Directive we have notified local public health officials and are following procedures recommended by the CDC AND Alameda County Health Department. Please be assured we continue our efforts to limit the spread of this virus, including but not limited to contact tracing and quarantine of those who may have been exposed, and a deep cleaning of affected areas.
We will continue to test 10% of team members every two weeks, as directed by the Alameda County Public Health Directive. Also, all safety precautions and restrictions on visits prior to this quarantine are still in place.
Our staff is working around the clock to keep our campuses safe and healthy. Please visit our webpage that outlines our policies as we live and work through this pandemic.
