Welcome

Masons of California!

Masons in California love living at Acacia Creek. Call us today for a tour!

Acacia Creek is a premier continuing care retirement community, and shares a campus with the Masonic Home at Union City.  It is rich in Masonic values, and its mission and community culture reflect the values of the Masons of California, which built our premier senior living community.

Acacia Creek is just steps away from Siminoff Daylight Lodge No. 851, and our community include many masons who enjoy living in a masonic community. If you wish, you can participate in a year-round calendar of Masonic events through Siminoff Daylight Lodge No. 850, which meets on campus and maintains a scenic outdoor degree site.  Acacia Creek is located adjacent to the Masonic Home at Union City and contracts for services from the highly experienced Masonic Homes staff.  Residents live among fraternal family and staff who are committed to the fraternity’s tenets of brotherly love, relief, and truth.

As a community that lives its masonic values, Acacia Creek is a Center for Successful Aging, one of just 16 nationally-recognized centers that is accredited by Masterpiece Living – and the only one in Northern California.  With criteria based on qualifications determined in a landmark 10-year study by the MacArthur Foundation, this recognition is presented to “organizations that have set themselves apart from all others by implementing the best successful aging practices that promote resilience and benefit both members and team members.”

Acacia Creek’s application was unique in that it not only met but exceeded Masterpiece Living’s gold-caliber standards. Very few communities have ever scored above 90 on the evaluation; Acacia Creek’s score was 95, the highest to date. “This achievement reflects the vitality and engagement that is the culture of Acacia Creek,” says Acacia Creek President Chuck Major. “It is the result of the partnership between residents and team members in creating a community where all residents age happily and successfully.”
